We are currently looking for an Equipment Engineer to join our manufacturing team, with responsibility for managing and maintaining the processing line equipment (CNC saws, mediablaster, wash/dry machinery, spray booths) to minimize downtime, maintain quality, and optimize throughput. In this position, you will be collaborating closely with production personnel, industrial designers, research engineers, and fabricators to develop and implement new machine and process concepts and continually improve manufacturing efficiencies.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in Engineering with 2+ years of industry experience, and enjoy innovative problem solving in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial manufacturing environment.  Successful candidates must be organized and efficient, with a strong attention to detail and procedure. This position requires both independent work and collaborative teamwork. Knowledge of concrete chemistry and process manufacturing is helpful, but not essential.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Supporting production safety, quality, and throughput goals
  • Scheduling and conducting preventive maintenance activities and equipment repairs
  • Assisting with installation and optimization of new equipment
  • Troubleshooting problems in production as they arise
  • Scheduling and managing equipment vendors for upgrades, maintenance, and repairs
  • Identifying opportunities for process and equipment improvements and collaborating cross-functionally in their design and implementation

Position Requirements:

  • BS Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of hands-on equipment engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to bring positive energy to collaborative teams across company departments

TAKTL is currently looking for a Fabricator/Machinist with 5+ years of experience who thrives on innovation and is excited to work alongside designers and engineers to continually develop new and unique machines in-house to be implemented into our state-of-the-art factory. The ideal candidate will be a creative skilled machinist and fabricator with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. He/she will be a jack of all trades in a shop environment who enjoys a fast-paced work environment that rewards results.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Set up and operate machines including CNC Router, vertical mills, lathe, ironworker, drill press, TIG/MIG welders, etc.
  • Machine and fabricate equipment components
  • Inspect, operate and test completed equipment to verify functionality, machine capabilities, and quality
  • Utilize ingenuity and engineering drawings to prototype new ideas for production
  • Receive and act upon feedback from the engineering, research and production teams.
  • Interpret, read, and review prints from drafting to ensure accuracy
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas

Position Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on machining, fabricating, and/or prototyping in an advanced manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to bring positive energy to cross functional teams and relate successfully with production team members, designers, engineers and senior managers.

  • Report material and equipment issues effectively
  • Support daily and weekly equipment and workstation cleaning
