We are currently looking for a Production Engineer to join our manufacturing team, with responsibility for optimizing the manufacture and organization of polymer mold liners and rigid forms used to create our Ultra High Performance Concrete panels. This role includes scheduling, research, inventory management, and cross-department coordination to support production and customer needs. In this position, you will be collaborating closely with production personnel, industrial designers, research engineers, and fabricators to optimize mold production and management.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in Engineering with 2+ years of industry experience, and enjoy innovative problem solving in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial manufacturing environment.  Successful candidates must be organized and efficient, with a strong attention to detail and procedure. This position requires both independent work and collaborative teamwork. Knowledge of concrete and/or polymer chemistry is helpful, but not essential.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Supporting production safety, quality, and throughput goals
  • Optimizing process of manufacturing polymer mold liners and carriers
  • Ongoing research and development activities around manufacturing technology and equipment
  • Directly assist in the detailed creation and technical manufacture of mold liners where necessary
  • Facilitating information transfer using TAKTL’s electronic inventory system
  • Identifying opportunities for process and equipment improvements and collaborating cross-functionally in their design and implementation

Position Requirements:

  • BS Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of hands-on equipment engineering experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Concrete Casting: Be a part of the team prepping molds, then mixing and casting concrete using our custom-designed production line.
  • Panel Finishing: Learn to use specialized equipment to cut panels, drill anchor holes, and apply custom finishes.

We are currently looking for a Takeoff Technician to join our technical sales and project development team, with responsibility for producing takeoffs from architectural drawings, and preparing budget and final quotations for review.

This role involves working from architectural drawings to tabulate TAKTL panel sizes, quantities and types, then using that information to calculate manufacturing yield and propose solutions for improving manufacturability. The Estimator will also be responsible for reviewing project specifications for conformance and providing pricing for TAKTL façade panels and attachment hardware based on manufacturing costs.

Successful candidates must be organized and efficient, and enjoy highly detailed, repetitive tasks. This position requires both independent work and collaborative teamwork. The ability to read and understand architectural drawings is preferred but not necessary – we will provide extensive training.
