We are currently looking for a systems administrator to join our Information Technology team.  If you love technology, computers, data science, analytics, and would enjoy helping others to use technology, consider joining our team!

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to internal teams for all first level incidents or requests
  • Troubleshoot, document and monitor problems with enterprise applications, hardware, servers and network infrastructure
  • Assist with basic networking, VoIP, and endpoint support
  • Assist with ERP, CRM, and other applications
  • Install, update, and maintain Windows 10 operating systems
  • Install, update, and maintain other enterprise applications on client machines
  • Monitor server CPU, disk utilization, capacity, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems
  • Basic knowledge of IT systems and network troubleshooting 
  • 1+ years of experience in computer repair and configuration
  • Interest in automated manufacturing and comfortable on a shop floor.
  • Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
  • Good critical thinking, writing, and communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm, strong work ethic, and able to learn quickly
  • BS, Information Systems or equivalent education and/or IT experience
  • Security certification (preferred, not required)

We are currently looking for a concrete research scientist to join the recently created division of TAKTL that will explore new materials and process optimization for existing applications as well as entirely new and innovative avenues of research in four broad areas: (1) ultra-high performance cement-based composite materials, (2) micro- and macro-reinforcements, (3) urethanes, resins and mold technologies, and (4) sealers and coatings. This role requires the ability to design and manage effective research projects and collaborate closely with consultants and research partners as well as in-house engineers, designers, and functional leaders. Research projects will be conducted both in the laboratory and in collaboration with the manufacturing team, at full scale on the production line. The position will report to the Director of Research.

Position requirements:

  • Materials Science, Chemistry, or related degree, Ph.D. preferred.
  • Proven experience designing and managing research projects.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in research related to cement, concrete, ceramics and  chemical admixtures in the construction sector. Experience in UHPC is a plus.
  • Effective, proactive communicator, able to engage cross-functional support and innovative thinking.

  • Report material and equipment issues effectively
  • Support daily and weekly equipment and workstation cleaning
