Manufacturing Careers


We are seeking production employees with all levels of experience who are interested in learning a new industry and building a career with a local company. Successful candidates are reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented. Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.

Potential Job Functions

  • Move and lift molds, concrete panels, or other materials by hand or using forklifts, overhead cranes, or other material handling equipment
  • Operate casting, cutting, drilling and/or spraying machinery and equipment to support production processes
  • Read and interpret fabrication drawings for custom panels
  • Use tools to measure panels, equipment, and parts
  • Record manufacturing data using computer (ERP) system
  • Clean and maintain work areas and equipment

Physical Requirements

  • Constant use of hands and arms in lifting, pushing, pulling, gripping materials
  • Exertion of sufficient force to lift, push, pull or carry objects
  • Walking up and down stairs, balancing, crouching and stooping
  • Standing for 8 or more hours every day
  • Must be able to lift 60 lbs
  • Read and listen to instructions
  • Wear eye, hearing, hand and foot protection
  • Work in an industrial work environment which can be hot, cold, dusty, wet, and/or noisy

We are currently looking for a systems-oriented 2nd Shift Operations Line Manager with a minimum 5 years hands-on leadership experience in manufacturing to manage our finishing operations.

This team member will report directly to the Operations Manager and will be tasked with maintaining efficient production through-put across multiple manufacturing work-centers, while ensuring all safety and quality standards are being met.  The successful candidate will be self-motivated, disciplined, have exceptional communication skills, an energy-giving personality, and the ability to balance multiple priorities and move objectives forward in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee finishing operations, including CNC saw/drill lines, automated media blasting, coating, and crating, ensuring that safe, consistent, high quality and efficient processes are maintained
  • Ensure that new employees are trained and performing to established standards
  • Promote the development of team-oriented culture and cultivate employee commitment
  • Execute continuous improvement strategies for EH&S, quality, and productivity
  • Maintain close working relationship with members of the Project, Casting, Quality, and Planning teams to meet deadlines and execute process changes

Requirements

  • 5+ years manufacturing supervisory experience
  • High energy personality with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Successful experience in production operations, lean manufacturing process improvement programs, and leading a team to deliver products that meet and/or exceed customer requirements
  • Basic MS Excel and MS Outlook proficiency
  • Experience with ERP systems preferred
  • Forklift experience preferred

Staff Careers


We are currently looking for an experienced Facilities Engineer to manage the continued optimization of our automated equipment – dosing, mixing, cutting, finishing – and have the ability to design and participate in all aspects of facilities and equipment planning, implementation and maintenance, including:

  • Equipment Improvements – analyze and optimize equipment performance through automation and upgrades to enhance reliability and quality
  • Preventive Maintenance – coordinate with maintenance staff, internal process engineers, and outside contractors keep machinery operating optimally
  • Problem Resolution – find solutions to issues as they arise in a rapidly evolving and growing manufacturing environment.

Position Requirements

  • BS, Engineering or equivalent technical qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Extremely strong electro-mechanical aptitude
  • Proficiency with PLCs, motor control automation, and field signal wiring
  • Well developed project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with senior managers, industrial designers, and production level team members.
